Our highly trained staff is dedicated to supporting the development of all children, beginning at age 6weeks. Our teachers and support staff use proven methodologies and a highly effective curriculum to help children grow academically, socially, and physically. We regularly participate in professional development in order to improve our skills and offer a better learning experience for the children. All staff have CPR and first aid training, FBI background checks, and at least eight hours of pre-service training specific to childcare.

Our goal is to provide a high quality environment, which is rich in stimulation, interaction, discussion, and activity, while teaching children to seek additional information. During each day at our school there are structured, unstructured, active, and quiet activities. These may include art, music, story time, outdoor play, puppetry, block play and dress up. In the summer months, we do more field trips and have snow cones!

Our curriculum is based on sophisticated approach of alternating teacher-directed formal instruction with child-directed exploration and play. We help children become familiar with colors, shapes, letters, numbers, and learn skills that will help them build a foundation for their continued schooling.

Our yearly curriculum consists of math, science, social studies, art, and language development. Our weekly activities include music, p.e., story time, circle time, dramatic play, gross and small motor movement, field trips, and much more. Indeed, music is incorporated into the routine where children have numerous opportunities to sing, dance, and listen to music.

Skills used in living - friendship, compassion, cooperation, and kindness - are as much part of our curriculum as math and science.
